Power supplied by Romande Energie through two 600 KVA transformers for the Miles Davis building and two 600 KVA transformers for the Stravinski building. Total 2400 KVA.
Our team of electricians can provide multiple power supply possibilities throughout the 2m2c.
Telephone lines
Swisscom is our operator. We have 2 primary connections in service, which means 60 network lines and therefore a maximum of 60 simultaneous outside calls . During the Montreux Jazz Festival, this is expanded by 2 additional primary connections, allowing a total of 120 simultaneous outside calls.

Fluids
The 2m2c has a water supply system at various points in the building as well as a drain system. This type of service will require special arrangements and a specific quote.
Climate control
Climate control of the different spaces is provided by a ventilation system that is able to process an air volume of 300,000 m3 / hour for heating, air conditioning and air filtration. A microprocessor-based management and control system allows advance scheduling, adjustment, control and alarm management of the equipment.
Fire safety
The 2m2c is equipped with an automatic smoke detection system, a sprinkler system and an emergency lighting system. For all large-scale events, the 2m2c consults with the fire department, which decides whether it needs to be on site for the event.
Environment
The Stravinski building has a vegetal roof which provides complete isolation, is air-tight, water-proof, wind- and fire-resistant, and also helps to protect the environment.
The cooling plant for the air conditioning uses a pumping station that takes lake water from a depth of 80 m, which allows us to achieve significant savings in electrical power consumption.
Heat is produced by gas-fired equipment that meets the strict standards set by OPAIR (Air Protection Office).
